Anyone fished this lake? Looking to book for 7 of us on a social end of august so any info welcome.

The Tar Farm complex is good for a social. Fished Lake 8 once, had a few out to low 20. The fish react to angling pressure in a big way, so don't get lured into fishing the 'Oxford Way' . Find a mixture of spots and start off gently with the baiting, also don't ignore the margins especially overnight

Thanks for the reply, would you suggest Lake 8 is one of the better ones at Tar farm?

I would say so, also if there"s a large group in your social then you can all be on the one bank. It also has the slightly larger stock of fish, and is one of the less weedy waters.
