Ive been off here for few years and away from fishing due to ill health.
I've recently been given a set of korum opportunist x 8ft rods in 2.5lb tc.
My local ship canal has fish to low 40. And tidal river mid 30. Only short cast necessary maybe 40 yds. My question is how do you guys think they would cope in the event of hooking one of the big gals ??

I have bought 2 haven't used them yet, happy with the quality nice for the money
