Doing a bit of research and have looked at the following...
Have a Tempest bivvy V1 and looking for a possible new one.
The Frontier looks good but not sure on the width compared to my Tempest, the Fox looks quite a lot smaller width wise and am wondering I will feel they are too tight.
Do these look correct?
Tempest V1 140H x 240D x 270W
Frontier 130H x 250D x 185W
Frontier X 140H x 260D x 198.5
New Tempest 100 135H x 235D x 250W
New Tempest 150 157H x 270D x 325W
Guess my question is has anyone moved from an Tempest Bivvy v1 to the new Bivvy 100 or Fox and noticed the width difference?

I can't help with the tempest, but I do own a frontier the standard size one, overall it's great and suits my fishing, dont tend to do more than 2 nights so size wise it's perfect especially as my club water I fish swims are tight, but if I was fishing longer it's only maybe extra food and clothing i'd be carrying so this would fit in my kit I already take, with the frontier because it's flat backed you still get more room than you'd think in front of your bedchair, I can squeeze a chair in at an angle and zip the door up if needed. I'm fairly tall at 6ft4" and the door is low on the frontier but it's a small sacrifice as I'm not in and out that much but inside can sit on my solar bedchair at full height without slouching as the headroom once inside is mega, I know some lads have slated the frontier but the quality of mines been great, sets up quick kept me dry, downside it's quite heavy but stripped back with minimum pegs as it comes with more than you'll need, and if you don't fish with a groundsheet etc in summer, however it's hardly noticeable especially if you use a barrow. That's my 2 pence worth, hope that's of some use

I've always used a tempest but gone over to a frontier X this year which I never thought I'd do but best thing I've ever done it's amazing and you certainly won't feel tight in there, it feels huge inside and I have plenty of room (I'm 6ft 3)

That dead bit of space in the back of the tempest is a bit pointless.

I've got a Tempest 100 (about 3 years old) for the summer & bought a Frontier XD for the winter, the room inside the frontier is incredible, with very little wasted. I always thought I'd swap back to the Tempest come the warmer weather as the Frontier is a chunk heavier, but TBH I'm now tempted to stick with the frontier all the way through & just strip it back - it's well designed and I get my winter sleep system (Nash Wide Boy Indulgence) in with room to spare at both ends & a load of space infront of the bivvy.
Overall the Tempest probably goes up slightly quicker (it is significantly smaller) but it's marginal & the extra headroom in the Frontier does wonders for my back
