Going to france for the first time with some mates and looking for a good lake with the chance of a few fish but also with a good chance of a 50. We currently have rushes lake booked in april but im still yet to see any photos of the 40's and 50's that are supposidly in there.

Look at Alder lake which Angling Lines look after. Went a few years back and has stacks of fish. Think we had 30 fish between two of us including a 50
And 19 40s!! It's a beautiful lake in the middle of the countryside!
