Looking for a bit of advice at the end of the month I want to get myself some new 10fts my 3 choices are either:
Custom Harrison aviators 3.25tc
Century CQ 3.5tc
Free spirit hi-s black editon 3.25tc
Anyone got an opinion on which is best? Or use any of these?
I already use the 10fts I've got for 90% of my fishing over my 12fts so I've already settled on new 10fts.
I've done a bit of research and narrowed it down to these, I was originally going to go for some 10ft torrix but got recommended the aviators over them. Got told for the little extra I've been quoted they are better?

I've got the standard HI-S in 10ft, they're literally my favourite rods,
They weigh absolutely nothing, last year I was lucky enough to catch 5x fish over 40Lb on them using braid, best playing rod I ever used.
Can't speak for the Century or the Harrisons, but I think if you went with the 10ft hi-s, you won't be disappointed.

Only 10 ft rods ive owned were some 2.5 hi s and they were superb rods. My mate has the 10ft cq and they are also superb. Not keen on the black edition looks mind as i love the metallic blue whippings on the standard build.
Seems like the hi-s are very popular yeah tbh custom hi-s is also a option. As for the blue whippings I can get the black edition from the tackle box and they have blue whippings I just admit they look very nice, I just like all black rods and black reel seats.
I really like my freespirit rods I have them in 12fts so would be nice to stick to what I no but was thinking of something different 🤣 I just can't make up my mind haha

They are 12ft but I love my aviator plus 2s. Had trebuchet lights before that and loved them as well, only sold them as I didn't need 13ft on smaller waters but man they could cast. Mind you, I haven't tried but I would like to see how far I could push these with braid...
My Aviators are custom and 3.5tc perfect balance and give a good punch made by Kevin Clayton

Over the past few years I have owned all of the blanks mentioned by the OP, during my infatuation with 10ft rods and how much more sense they make for uk angling over 12's.
I'm currently using Aviators custom made by Calvin Hancock. In my opinion they are the best 10 footers that I have had, and the best compromise between casting ability and an enjoyable playing action. I love them!
If casting wasn't so important, Century C2 10 footers are worth a look. I absolutely loved these, but unfortunately the more parabolic action hampered my casting too much.

Thanks for the replies lads yeah I'm definitely swaying towards the aviators tbh heard such good things and so many people rate the 10fts highly, mine will be done by Chris orme I think, my friend had his done by him and they are beautiful
