Any information on this new model ? Looking to buy the 12 ft , 3,25 lb . I see is a retro model with cork finish , had the first model of TX9 nice roads , are those similar ?

This is the most info I could find online in terms of a user review. I went for the TX9A which I believe is the same construction with a different seat and a duplon abbreviated handle. I really like them, they are light and cast well although I have only fished at 18 wraps with them so far. The action is quite good too..not too tippy.

Interesting just started looking for new rods. Quite like the look of the Shimano tX7s missed out on a new set for £375 gutted!
Read that review on another 1970s website.. also why is "carp forum" so dated!

I actually got the TX7's first, but the butt rings were bent and 1 of the handles was damaged so I retuned them and found the TX9 A's for the same price. I wasn't a big fan of the full length handle on the 7's as it looked like it would dent easily just from use. They were a bit too faster action for me with just the top maybe 2 foot having any sort of flex.
