Does anyone know If Garry still running custom reels as you never hear of them anymore and his work was superb. His facebook page hasnt been updated since 2017.

Used Garry at custom reels a few times back in the day and his work was superb. He even went to the lengths of getting his car paint sprayer mate to mix him up a little bit of candy apple red paint to paint the tiny groove on my castizm handle spindle as he wasnt happy with the colours he had as they didnt match perfectly. I dont know many people who would go to those lengths.

Garry has had a lot of private matters to attend to for quite a while now. I am not sure if he is back to doing what he does best yet, but it's always worth a try. He is the best in the reel servicing/ customising business and would always be my 1st choice

He did a set of Longbeams for me few years ago top job very nice guy hope is ok

Ah thats not very good, hope hes ok. I used to speak to him quite a bit on the phone when he was working on my reels, came across as a really nice bloke.

I've sent them a question about customising my basia customs they look really nice and unique on their website and they are not far from my as they are in Cannock,I fancy the red handle(knob part) with my badge of my football team engraved on the end .
