Anyone use one for day sessions if so how did you find it did it seem o bit big or ok

Depends if you take a barrow for day sessions really. The tempest brolly is to big for me to carry about, and the restricted view is another downside for me

I used a v1 tempest last year for days. It was old and well used so I cut off the front wings.
It worked very well.

Used a V2 air for both days and overnighters, ideal as it's light and fairly compact comparing to a brolly

I agree. The brolly is slightly too big for days and the view is restricted by the sides/wings. If trakker made a smaller open fronted version it would sell like hot cakes. I'd definitely have one!

Personally think the tempest is a bit to big and bulky for days. I either use my fast and light or fox specialist brolly.

I use a Korum Graphite Brolly Shelter for days. Weighs under 3kg. Can carry it and all my gear in one trip without a barrow. Comes with some really good quality pegs too.
