I have often walked around the bay and there appears to be a decent amount of carp in there but no idea on size (have only seen upper singles). I have intend to give it a go but being a member of the Wharf just around the corner I have never been able to justify it.
Has anyone had any success fishing the bay? I'm a little daunted by its size and don't want to invest any real time in it if the only likely rewrrd would be the odd 5lber.
