I really like the look of those.
One question, have you used them in some heavy rain where you get dirt and grit splashbacks up them?
I suppose in a rare occurrence, if it ever did get stuck the like would just ping out the bobbin anyway

They have rubber wipers in the head to clean the rail as they move

I have the rail. Nice and smooth. Got the Adaptors so I can change back to hangers

I am considering these. Keith states that all bases are covered, normal fishing, tight lines, slack lines. Out of interest, when and why do you change back to hangers?

I got a set of these. Only used once so far, but I like them.
I tried the twitchers, but they were not for me.
Warlocks have been my favoured indicators for years, but no longer on the website.

I have the Merlins and like them and really like the look of the Rails.
I like the concept that you can have the indicator raght at the top or bottom for Zig/Snag and slack line fishing and then somewhere in between for 'normal' fishing. My only question is if more weight needs adding to the indicator if fishing at medium to long range and/or a chop on the water?

Yep, DSi's marketed and sold under the JRC brand but were actually made by a Czech company off memory.
