Has anyone used any of their products? Been told by a very successful angler they're the best about... using their Deep Six with pukka results, however at £45 a pot it seems stupidly expensive.

I'd have to see stupidly better catches than ANY other hookbait companies products, 1st hand on a lake I was fishing, before thinking to pay £45 out per pot💰

One of the most mental illusions in bait.

They made very good hookbaits at £15 a pot - they caught well and owner gets the hump that despite selling out each batch, that he doesn't get credit from the big names - just think about that

I SELL OUT EVERYTHING DO NOT NEED PUBLICITY AND HAVE A GOOD BUSINESS

they then say they are going to stop making - typical cutting his nose to spite his face.

EBay then goes mental and starts selling pots for £50 +

He then thinks I will have some of that and re starts

THE REASON THEY WERE £50 IS BECAUSE YOU CLOSED

so you are are left with anglers who genuinely believe in magic beans

They are decent and I would still use them but not at £45 a pot, shame as I did really well on them.

If you can afford them and want to try them, buy them its your money.

He only sold out as he made a handful of pots at a time. It's not a commercial set up.

Get a pot of reasonably buoyant hookbaits, dry em to buggery then glaze in hydros, acids, sugars and salts and you'll have a rocket hook bait atleast as good as a lot to flavoured ones out there

A £45 pot of hookbaits won't turn you into Terry Hearn overnight. They might be great baits but that price is just taking the p**s, the mark up on these pots must be unbelievable. I've seen a recipe with 20 plus ingredients stated but how many of those are in any meaningful amounts?. You can only put so much in pop ups before buoyancy becomes an issue. You can make pop ups far superior to any shop brought baits and it won't cost you £45 a pot.

Best ingredients I've found for pop ups

Calcium Casienate
Lactalbumin
Soya Isolate or Soya Flour
Acid Casein
Rennet Casein
Brocacel Yeast
Lamlac

Absolutely bonkers. I'm not rolling at the minute, mine is very much a hobby business and I make my actual living from a heating business so that takes priority from sept through till Easter. But what I can tell you is that I put a decent amount of attractors/powders/spices and liquid hydro/oils in mine and I can sell them at £7 a pot as a hobbyist and make a profit on them. Obviously I don't have the overheads of a commercial business. Paying £45 for a pot of pop ups, you'd need to be on crack.
