Evening all. Thought I would try the great and the good on here before going down the Fox/shop route in the hope of an easy fix.
I bought 3 fox mini micron x and receiver as a back up set and bit of nostalgia for the old ones. At the time the only 3+1 sets I could find were camo, so I picked up the plain black alarms and receiver from a few different places.
I've only just got round to having a look at them, but can't get 2 of the three heads to pair to the receiver. I've followed the online video and you push and hold a button on the back of the receiver, a little Fox logo flashes then you switch the heads on one at a time to pair. Simple, and for one head it works perfectly, the other two nothing happens.
On closer inspection of all 4 the items have QC stickers in the battery bay. The receiver and head that pairs were passed in 2020 and the two that won't pair were passed in 2021.
I don't really keep up with tackle stuff, was there a MK1 and Mk2 release that could possibly run on different frequencies?!

Is it possible that two heads are not the remote version and just std heads...?

The first thing I checked. All three heads are labelled as Mini Micron X both on the internal battery bay and external casing. As far as I'm aware the non receiver version does not carry the X label.

I don't think there's a MK1 and 2 version but I had a similar problem, no matter what I tried I couldn't get one of my heads to pair up.
I messaged Fox and they asked for pics of the serial numbers in the battery bay, once they received the pics they sent a new alarm out in the post f.o.c which paired straight away, they didn't really elaborate too much when I asked what the problem was as it was something they could diagnose though the serial no

I used the website contact and fair play they replied very quickly. Need to send them photos.

Heard back from Fox this morning, they are sending out a replacement alarm and receiver. Only sent the photos at 11.30 last night and they were on it before 8.30am.
Not sure what the exact issue is, but when if it gets resolved that quickly I'm not fussed.

I had a problem with one alarm from a set of 3 plus receiver. The shop replaced the single alarm, which refused to pair with the receiver, so I sent the lot back to the shop who gave me a replacement set. There are/were certainly issues pairing a new alarm with a receiver.
