Hello mate,

we were out there this time last year. The owner gave us the tour when we got there, he was a really nice bloke and was very helpful. We had 2 bailiffs looking after us, one did the breakfast and the other the evening meal, the food portions were large and the quality very good. You're supposed to call the Balif if you get a big fish, I would double check the number as the one given to us went to the ex Balif in the UK. We had fish up to the 50lb mark and were more than capable of dealing with these ourselves. Top swim was opposite the dinning area, my mate could hardly keep a rod in the water. There were only 3 of us, we didn't fish the right hand bank as the swims were underwater and we're too old for all that, it was fairly obvious that a lot of the fish were holding out in this area. I fished the left hand bank and was on about 2 runs per day, the depth was around 20 feet and it was a bit snaggy. Overall I really liked the place. If you want a chat PM me your number and I'll give you a call. Regards Paul.

Hi Paul, I'm booked onto Waterside in October. Never fished in France before. Can you offer any tips or advice for this venue please. Are there preferred baits to be used and preferred rigs. If there is any advice for Waterside it would be gratefully received.
Thanks
