I'm currently 19st 6ft xxxl and I'm doing a trip to France in November I need some clothing to combat cold weather what would you guys suggest for a big bloke like me ?

It's France mate not the Arctic Circle and its November, not even winter. Based on the way the weather has been this year it will probably be mid 20s the whole month.

You can never tell what the weather is going to be like in France in November it pays to take proper cold weather gear in the car
it could be shirt sleeves (very unlikely) or snow and sub zero and yes its happened to me we fished a lake in mid France middle of November and with the bitter north East wind the windchill was minus 16 it was the only time in 16 years of French trips (2 to 3 times a year) when we both blanked

I went france mid November last year and temperatures went down to -4 in the Limoges area.I have the prologic suit and the aqua thermal foiled lined jacket and trousers.Both really good with and aqua being more generous in its sizing and the pro logic a great price.

I got just the bib n brace as I prefer a snugpak for a coat
Bib n race is great and come up in 3xl possibly 4
A 2xl snugpak softie will fit you.

What do you wear under your bib and brace ?
I've just bought the trakker 2 core suit but don't think I'm gonna fit hoody and joggers under it

As I'm 55 and now feel the cold.
In winter I can wear
Merino legging and joggers under it.
And ontop a merino top then a heavyweight thermal top
Over that goes a snugpak. I fish all through winter.
And.am OK. IF the forecast is like minus degrees I give It a miss
Anyway.
