What is the best spod line to buy for casting at a distance that wont break off

What do you consider "at a distance"?

I opted for Berkley Whiplash in 45lb tied to a SUBline Tapered Leader (10lb to 40lb) to take the shock out of the cast when hitting the clip. The braid is 0.16 and flies off but I would recommend wetting first and using something to protect your finger on the cast if you want to keep it!

I still rate the korda stuff for anything over 130 yds

Using Daiwa j-braid 8strand. Have had no issues at all with it.

I use spomb braid with spomb leader. Don't think Iv had a single wind knot, but I do wet the spool regularly before casting. I don't use a finger stool, only using the midi spombs but can comfortably hit 100 with ease

Been using the yellow korda braid and 50lb arma kord leader for years now. Still going strong. Just check the leader knot once in while, can wear and become weak after lots of heavy use

yes this is what I use, same as the Korda stuff but probably cheaper, being 8 strand it's a much smoother finish than the 4 strand braids and doesn't need constantly wetting
