Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with the Avid exodus pro rods? They have a deal at the moment for 3 for 2 effectively which could be a steal given the price If the rods are decent.

I have a pair of 10ft shimano Tx2 ft rods and some Daiwa Crosscast 2.75 12ft rods that I use for the majority of my fishing. However I wouldn't mind adding a 12 ft 3.25 or 3.5 tc rod to my collection as I'm soon going to be fishing a bigger lake with lots of weed and possibly some solid bags.

I could budget a fair bit more for better rods but at the price point I was just wondering what people's opinions on the Avid rods are and I'f they're worth a go.

I have the old avid exodus rods 12ft 3lb. Great rods in my opinion for the price. I would recommend them 👍🏽

Thanks, I might give them a crack for the money. Saying that though I have seen the Avid Traction Pro rods which look very nice. Anyone know if it would be worth spending that bit extra for the Traction Pros? Thanks.

i've got the traction rods and cannot fault them

I don't know about this pro version but the 10ft exodus rods I have are the most lifeless rods I've ever used
