Looking for a new venue for next year for myself and the wife.

Somewhere around 4 hours from Calais and does a decent food package.

Have a look at Rushes Lake in the Sarthe region...4 hours from Calais or 2 hours from Caen.......good food package and plenty of fish too

ps...I no longer own Rushes Lake, sold it 2021

Just down the road from rushes is also bounty, nice on site restaurant / bar and option of a swim with a mobile home with creature comforts for the wife if needed.
