Currently in a Fox Frontier Camo XD and its build quality has been awful, despite me not having a recipt Fox are replacing it FOC. Lots of tape has been missed from the seams, one of the loops you use to keep your door up is stiched into the roof so it doesn't hang down. Zips have gaping gaps in them in the wind. Deffinatly a friday bivvy!
Coming away from the build, its got lots of space nut a smallish footprint, i have to option of a inner casual if i want. Hight is good as im 6ft3. My Flatliner 8 leg fits great with 6" room either end. Groundsheet fits well.
Bad points.
The vapour peak does NOTHING to stop water coming in, cant have windows open in rain, and door has to be letterbox style litrally to the top.
All windows are either closed or mozzy, no option of clear. Its pit h black inside and im thinking in winter, fully shut up (rember the vapor peak does nothing) it will be lights on 24/7.
The main door is either Solid, Mozzy or Clear, but its a case of zip off one and change it, so if you have mozzy on and it starts to rain you have to change the full door. My old bivvies used to have a panel to velcro on for clear, you lifted up the solid wxposing mozzy and could velcro on a clear.
The ground sheet is nearly worn through after 4 week long sessions.
Wrap looses all windows.
I got a little worred about it in some 25mph winds, the front panel wanted to fold in on its self!
As i say Fox have been great and are sending me out a new one, di i sell it and get a Titan T2? Ive heard complaints about the material being not to great and quite see through?
I see alot of Titans on the bank bit ive never seen one up close, interested to hear people's thoughts, has anyone used both?

Not really quite the reply maybe but I've got a T1 and the standard frontier, much prefer the frontier for the following reasons, material is better as is the footprint and it goes up and down a lot quicker, the things I don't like as you said stupid that if you want a mozzie door you have to faff about changing the whole door If it rains and also no mozzie options either side of the door in the standard frontier other than buy a complete mozzie front.
The T1 condensates bad although you don't get wet in the capsule it's always wet on the inside of the outer, takes ages to dry and hate trying to put it away with the capsule in it although the front door options are much better with a choice of complete mozzie, part mozzie or solid front.
Had the t1 a few years and only use it for a week as it's a touch bigger and keeps ants out abroad.
Depends how much time you do but I would have the frontier xl over the T2 if it was me.

Got the Frontier x and the T2. Both excellent pieces of kit, loads of room in the T2 and the capsule is a godsend. For me they're for 2 different types of fishing, T2 for long sessions (France) and the x for home fishing. Not used the x's full system yet, but the material looks great. Used the T2 a few times and live it's space. Build quality is decent too though buying the HD groundsheet is a joke, should really come with a bivvy of that price.
