Im 1 sleepless night into a 2 week session and my new flatliner 8 leg (3 sessions old) bed is driving me mad! I need to have ine seide legs extended as im on a hill and one of the middle legs will not stay up, as soon as i get on it it drops down, just noticed a small ammount of metal scrapings on the floor. Current its fully retretracted and held up higher with a stone.

Anything i can do?

With mine I removed the flat metal plate and put it back with the outside edge on the inside. Been fine ever since.

Seems to be a common problem I find with beds these days.

As mentioned, best cure is to reverse the metal plate as I found on one bed, or, once you have adjusted the height of your bed, give the locking mechanism a good tap to make it bite into the leg.

But, if your finding metal scrapings, that is not good as it will have come from the leg so its diameter may have been reduced and the locking mechanism may be not fitting as tight as it should. Rotating the leg may find a better area for the locking mechanism to get a "bite" to lock tight.

If the two below suggestions don't work then you could fit a jubilee clip to the leg and adjust accordingly 👍
