It was a CADAC venue shared with the lodges during the holiday season
Think it might be 2 or 3 years ago now

I went there for a week session last year.
Beech Pool was nice - got a few carp out, mainly mid-doubles plus a couple of decent sized tench
The main lake - all I got were catfish. I could see the carp showing but could not get them to take a bait before the cats got to it. Got a bit frustrating after a few days - tried different flavour boilies, wafters, pellets and even sweetcorn but still couldn't get anything other than catfish
The other guys on the lake were all targeting the cats rather than carp which should probably have given me a clue as to what was the primary species in the lake!

my club CADAC used to have it, there are loads of cats in the main lake but there was a large carp death couple of years back

I have just seen this. My boys still take the piss about me hooking a goat. We went a few yrs back on a stag do for the fishing side of the family. 1960's chalets and a miserable old cow running it. Small carp and cats but some nice tench. Not on the return list.
