Does anyone know that the dimensions are of the current range of Fox alarms vs the previous Fox MX+ alarms? - in particular whether your rod sits any differently (higher or lower) on them if they were side by side?
Fishing more three rod waters now so looking to get an extra rod and make it a three rod set up.
However besides the costs of the extra rod, reel, and new buzz bars/pod, I'm also grappling with the fact that my current twin set of alarms (Fox Micron MX+) are discontinued and I can't find a third alarm available anywhere online either new or second hand.
I'd sooner not have to fork out for new rod, new reel, new pod AND three new alarms with receiver all in one go.
Was thinking of getting a single Fox Mini Micron X for now and having it sit alongside the MX+ alarms. Can live with the alarms looking mismatched but if the newer ones have different heights I'm not sure I can live with the rods all being at different angles.
