Anyone use 6ft rods in France when using baitboat im not casting but don't don't wanna upgrade rods for my trip but wanna come home to carry on with my 6fters in UK waters

If there's no weed and you're not using heavy leads to hold the tow it should be fine.

I took 10ft rods last year as I had the boat. Carp were not biting so adjusted tactics and caught cats to 50lb on them.
