Just wondered if the sleep system is different to buying the bed and sleeping bag separately?

They will be the same apart from the zip's to attach it to the bed. I personally dont like sleep systems at all.

Doesnt look like the bags alone have any sort of hoods or retaining straps etc on them

Dont think they will have a hood or retaining strap as its zipped onto bedchair so dont need them.

But if it comes separate from the bed, surey it would make sense to be compatible with other beds, or of the bed alone doesnt have zips, what secures it ?

The only way to attach the Duralite sleeping bag to a bedchair is with the zips on a duralite bed, if you want the use the duralite bag in anhoiter bedchair have fun, it doesn't stay in place and doesn't have straps to fasten it either

I bought the Duralite Bedchair bed separately and a 3 season sleeping bag, it was cheaper separately than as a sleep system (2 nice deals from 2 different shops), a week later I also bought the 1 season duralite sleeping bag.

Thank you Zinno. Are you saying the system is exactly the same as the separates? ie if you buy the bed it has the zips on it to attach the bag. This is what it looks like from the web and as you say, you can get the separate items for less than the cost of the system

Yes If you buy tbe bed and bags seperate it's the same.as if you buy the sleepsystem.
