Trying to find out about fishing at Fawsley Hall, Daventry. Can't find a thing on the two lakes near the hotel, one is called 'Big Waters'. Asked the hotel, said fishing allowed, but didn't know who to speak to. Grrr. Got a business meeting there in a few weeks... thanks gents.

Stayed there with the Missus just before the first lockdown. Spotted a couple of bivvies on the lakes so waddled down for a chat. Both are run as a syndicate, wasn't expensive from what I remember but they were unfenced and had suffered with Otters apparently.
can't tell you much more than that unfortunately...

Thanks for that. I only wanted to have an evening on there and live over 100 miles from the location. Just thought it would be better than sitting in the bar watching all my work colleagues getting pissed... thanks again. Harry.

If you're in Daventry and fancy a couple of hours fishing then Drayton Res would be your best bet. Absolutely rammed with fish, but rammed with anglers too mind. Good chance of catching tho.
