Can anyone recommend a decent venue in france for 8 anglers with a good social setting. ie a horse shoe shape lake where everyone is fishing in close proximity? Lac dor is one we have found so far, does anyone know of any others that suit?

All on Goncourt complex, double check the numbers as think woods may be only 6 on the central island and Saules may also only be 6

Great stuff cheers. I have actually seen this place, la traque looks good but only says 7 anglers even though there are 8 swims? I have emailed them a while ago but no reply.

Might be worth trying them on Facebook.
Normally almost fully booked for a few years in advance and lots of repeat bookings so maybe sometimes not a lot of need for chasing bookings (not making excuses for them, just guessing lol)

some of the best socials ive had over the years have been at Mar Peche. Holds up to 8 anglers, water, electric in every comfortable swim.
