Hi,
bought a set of 3 Eclipse 12ft 2,25lb. All 3 do have the same serial number 1198. Could it be rebuilds or is this normal?

JG Eclipse rods were sold by Simpsons of Turnford which no longer exist.

If you really want to know, you might contact Roger Hurst Rods, which does still exist, and built the rods for Simpsons.

I have a pair number 36 on both , the pair were ordered together i believe.
