All,

I have one of the original Ridge Monkey Toaster XL but I want to convert the 2 sections so they can be seperated.

At the moment it's held together with the rivet but was looking to maybe drill it out and use something else.

Anyone have any ideas what to use instead?

Flog it and buy one of the new ones that seperates anyway! I have both and much prefer the original, inseparable one!

Yep, me too. It's my one gripe... Would rather a fixed pan and removable handles... oh, first world problems!!

Looked at the idea myself but ended up just getting the newer one with the removable handles

Just get the compact connect. Splits in 2 and has removable handles.

Newbie first post, so hello and I'll get right into it 😬

My missus got me a standard granite edition RM as an early Xmas pressie. It looks small, don't think I'll be doing fry up in that. What size is the more practical? What have you fellas gone for?

I have the standard size and XL and you'd stuggle to do a full fry up in the XL not that much bigger tbh the connect pan and griddle xxl would be the one for a fry up

Mine fell off the stove the other day, opened up, and as I picked it up it fell in half and my chicken went everywhere
