After more than 20 years of not fishing with the pen I want to start with it again
I would like to go for a system with Micro Bagging Wagglers Loaded and looking for a good Rod and reel

Rod preferably 8/9ft, no longer than 10ft max 2.00lb

Which are recommendations?

Float fishing is so much harder with short rods. You'd be better with something longer

Have a look at Drennan red range or Drennan vertex . Both have 10ft option in the description you mention .

Agreed. I have a 2 piece 12 foot drennen carp match rod. It is perfect for float fishing for carp

Fished with pen on short rods 20 years ago never got a problem with it.
