Just bought my second set of Daiwa reels. Does anybody actually use the washers that come with these to change line lay ?

I played around with the washers on my Basia's. Found I like the linelay most with all the washers on, bar one red and one clear.

yes, you need them to adjust your line-lay if needed

I had to remove a washer to get the line level on my castizms. Start spooling a reel up with some old line and you will tell pretty quickly if you need to add or remove washers.
