Anyone got personal experience of these, mainly in comparison to the tempest. It's about time I retired my mk1 tempest brolly and can't make my mind up if I should by the 100 or go down the Cyprinus route. Cheers

I have one and it's been spot on.......for the price I'm not sure you can beat it.......

i've just got the storm bivvy for half price, £185,
it was in the bank holiday sale, so i had to try one at that price,
as i've had the trakker tempest composite since it first came out, but now is slowly showing wear and tear,
is still one of a favorites bivvy, unfortunately they don't make them any more

upon opening the storm and unpacking at the weekend, i notice the y block were the front poles connect and push onto was snapped already?
they are sending me a new one, but my hopes for it are not very good, it looks like you have to be so careful putting the front 3 poles poles on to the y block, i just don't think the strength is there,
unlike the trakker tempest front connection pole setting up,
maybe i was unlucky ? i'm not sure, time will tell,
but i will probably get a tempest and keep the storm for a spare ?
i'm not sure if the typhoon is any different and stronger ?

I noticed the Quest bivvy also updated their block. It's now just like the titan by Nash.

i think the v2 was the newer model after the composite,
but i'll definitely look at it
its a shame with the block y connection on the storm, as it really could of been a good bivvy, and with a very good price
the material looks ok, zip in groundsheet and zip in front,
time will tell
