Anyone had any of these bivvies and recommend them for their quality?
Currently very tempted by the Quest DefierX for about £200

I had the Quest defier last year bivvy's, decent bivvy but small inside 280 x 235 is abit misleading but for the rest i cant say anything bad about it.

I have a mk2 defier and it's ok. There was an initial problem with the scull cap and they replaced it straight away. Everything lines up and it doesn't leak. I have only done around fifteen nights in it so no long term evaluation

Yeah that's exactly what I found the dimension are smaller than he states . I purchased the mk2 defier and used it once and sent it back as it was to small not wide enough bedchair was pushing into the material at either end not deep enough the zip on front has to much of an angle on it waste to much space

The difference inside is really huge
Quest defier 280x 235: inside from bedchair till front 65cm over (bedchair sonik standard 210 x 80
just doesn't touch the sides
Fox frontier X 260 x 198: inside from bedchair till front 100 cm, bedchair 205 x80 does not touch the sides you have a good 20cm over
But I was satisfied with my Quest defier, not heavy, easy to set up and break down, cloth material was good, zipped groundsheet, decent door height, only reason I sold it is that it is a bit too small for me inside for 2/3 nights and also have an amstaff or Belgium Malinos with me, friend of mine sold his 100T when he saw my Defier but he also has a Frontier now

Had over a year..
No issues. Material spot on.i got dpm mk1 defier with Skull cap.
I fit solar sp tec bedchair in.. room in front of it for decent table.
For short one or 2 nights its spot on. I chose on price but also the height of the door and roof as was looking for a taller bivvy.
I would buy again. The 20 000 hh material has been great.

I've got a camo one with the 20k HH material and its awesome, loads of room inside, I use one of the new Nash Indulgence bedchairs (standard size) in it and there's bundles of room, plenty of headroom as well.

Debating getting a mk2 defier. For the price look bang on. Will a Nash ss4 wideboy fit in ?
