Probably a newbie Question. Never really looked at test curve before use a set of 3lbs. My question I'm starting to use more PVA bags in my fishing and to note areas I fish are a snag hell half the time. Mainly fish medium to large lakes rivers and so on. My question is I have seen a set of 3.25 and 3.5. Should I consider them or not

I would recommend you do a bit of research and search the forum(s), YouTube etc for the type of waters and style you're fishing and probably move away from the snaggy stuff for a while until you've got more experience if a true noob???
It's not all about TC and casting distance, bait/bag weight, rod quality, length, your budget etc will all come into play.

Worth doing some research, personally I avoid fishing snags.
