I've got a Trakker Tempest 100T bivvy which I absolutely love. I'm thinking of getting the social cap so that I can extend the front and bring my two young children fishing with me. Has anyone tried using the social cap to turn it into a two person bivvy and does it work?

So, checked this out before packing away this morning, I have a 100 model, so same footprint as the T I think. If so and with a standard tracker bedchair each side there is circa 18 - 24 inches between where 2 beds would be. Obviously wth a wider bed then the distance will reduce. I took a couple of pictures so ping me your e mail address via a pm and I can send them on.

Having used the social cap for about 9 months now I do think it's very good for extending the living space. The doors are also interchangeable from the main brolley. On a wet day it's better then being stuck in your bivvy all the time.

I bought my 100T with Social Cap for the very intent on turning it into a 2man for when she wants to join me.
And yes it allows for two beds with enough room down the centre.

Bumping this rather than starting a new one, what is a decent price for a second hand but good condition tempest 100T with all the additions? Skull wrap, social cap, ground shoot, infill and storm poles?

I paid £400 for mine, barely used and came with every accessory possible for the 100T but I think I got lucky with the price.

I recently sold mine with everything available for it and got about £350 for it, was in very good condition aswell took a while to sell it aswell

New with all the components is coming in around £700 i think so £350 seems a very good price, the one i was looking at on facebook is up for £500. Skull cap wrap, utility front, infill, ground sheet and storm poles

That's not too bad if it comes with a good amount of accessories.
The person I got mine from had upgraded the storm poles to Fox ones with better retention clips than the Tempest ones so that was an added bonus.
