I was looking at getting a set of these after hearing lots of good reports on them. Would the 12ft 3.25lb version be alright wacking out 4oz leads when needed ? Or would the 3.75lb Intense version be more suited to that? Thanks

The Intensity is a casting rod, if range is the priority then that's the one, but it's not a nice rod for anything else.

I bought a set of the 3lb, then the 2lb floaters as I thought the 3's a little heavy to my old carp rods 20 years ago which I use on a runs water with no snags for fish up to 20+ and hopefully going to christen a pair of the 10ft 2.75 tomorrow.
Can't really fault the rods and I think they're really good value for money and having had a waggle of a few in tackle shops they really do feel ok. Carp rods seem tip heavy these days.
I'm sure the intensities will be just fine for the type of loads you want to be using 👍
The corks look good. Shame the 10ft don't come in cork 👎

I've also got the 13ft TX2 intensity and use them for everything, pretty nice to play fish on, def not broom handles.

I've got the TX-2s in 3.25lb. Fab rods. Easily chuck a 4oz lead out over 100yrds.
I would imagine the 3.75lb would be better for 150+ but I'm happy with mine for what I'm using them for.
