Hi,

Listening to the radio there are constant traffic alerts saying the motorway is closed at Leeds Castle.

I'm heading to the tunnel in 2 weeks what is the best route?

Also is there any comparable "Duty Free" at the station similar to the ferry?

Cheers

Mike

Mike - Currently the M20 is closed south of the the A249 with lorries being parked up for Operation Brock. Alternative routes are the A20 (but very busy) and the M2 via the A249 if your not using the Dartford crossing. The other day traffic was backed up on the M20 well north of Maidstone so all local routes are suffering as a result. At the end of the M2 there are roadworks on the Brenley roundabout so with that and the increased traffic from the diversion, the M2 was backed up a good few miles. With P and O not sailing for the immediate future its not going to get much better. I would allow plenty of time or travel early if possible.
