Just bought 2 kodex kompressive T10 rods
They are retractable rods
They are meant to be 10ft rods
When I got home I measured them and they were both 9ft 7 inches long
That's 5 inches from being 10ft
Can anyone shed any light on this please

Their own website lists them as 3.0 m which is 1/4 inch over 118 inches so nearly two inches shorter than the 10ft to start with. I reckon the imperial measurement rod makers use now are just to put the rod into a size class..they are not accurate specifications. Five inches less does seem a lot though..perhaps they play the same tricks as the food producers, smaller portions for the same cost ?
"Length when fishing: 3m (10ft)" that's from the specifications page..
The reel seats do look a bit naff as well.

I don't think the reel seats look that bad to be honest
I'm going to be using the rods Easter Saturday at Cottington lakes in Deal
So I will let you know how they perform
Hopefully I can catch a nice scaly banger
But don't we all want that lol
