Fished this pit twenty plus years ago for pike and Zander. Does anyone have any info on the carp stocks , level of difficulty and any other interesting information.

Well, it is several waters, not one and it was always hard going, there could still be some big carp in there, but getting access to where you need to be is the biggest stumbling block. No one is going to tell you more than that, so I'd suggest some binoculars and tree climbing on a warm day. It's spelt Ely by the way

Thanks for the info , I thought it might be a bit secret squirrel over there , to be honest I was not even expecting and replies. I know there are carp to atleast 40 in there as I recently watched a match fishing video on YouTube and the angler stated the carp boys had carp out to 40.
From what I remember there was one side a smaller pit with a road bridge then a monster of a pit with Lilly pads and an island that leads around to the river Ouse.
