I own the standard size bedchair but of late am really finding this bedchair uncomfortable, due to preferring to sleep on my side.
I wake up feeling like I've slept on the floor. I remember Gerry recommending a sim but didn't know if that was for the compact or standard size which I own.
Would a sim make much difference or am I looking at buying a better padded bedchair?

Yes a inflatable mattress will make a lot of difference making it more confortable to sleep on

Get a set inflating mattress for it. Makes a massive difference in the wychwood.
I used the trakker one but any should do.

Regarding a sim, do they slip much or seem like they don't fit right? Don't want to waste money on something that doesn't do the job

The mountain equipment helium 3.8 gets very highly regarded on this site, costs around £50

I have the same bed and use a 10cm sim which when deflated folds in the bed with my fortis bag, comfy as my bed at home.
