I can see a few threads on these, some mixed reviews? What do long term users think now? Were the initial problems on the line guard down to 'bedding in'? I currently use Okuma T rex and these seem like a good upgrade without going mad. TIA

Do not buy these if you use them regularly. The spool slips out of its housing and jams the reel up and this has happened to me a lot. Apparently this can also cause the worm shaft to break. I no longer use mine and wish I got more tournaments instead.

It's been well over a year but the reels have been hardly used. I'm going to have a search for the receipts for the reels but I changed the washers on them all to make the clutches smoother so I'm unsure they will take them back.

If u unscrew the spool and lift it out there are flimsy plastic supports that the spool is meant to sit between. When playing a fish and sometimes just winding in the spools slip out of these supports and the reel jams up. U have to unscrew the spool and carefully bend the supports to re house the spool but it happens again and again.
