Not sure if this is in the correct place, but has anyone used an ice crusher rather than paying Carp tax for the branded boilie crusher available, after one that I can crush a few boilies and some particles prior to going fishing, only do short overnighters so don't need to crush 5kg in two minutes, looked at some and they are just a domestic version of the NGT one, has anyone got one of them and our they easy to use and do what's expected of them ?

i got given a mistral bait crusher some time ago and that exactly what it is, an ice crusher (the type with the crank handle) works pretty well, will even do tigers to a degree.

The NGT one is just the NGT version of the domestic ones IMO.
You can get a neoprene cover though...

First seen one being used on one of Kev Ellis's videos by Arjen if I remember correctly.

I have used one ever since, can be picked up really cheap on ebay.
I definitely wouldn't buy a fishing branded one as they are the exact same thing only at double the price.
