Just wondering if anyone has owned both the okuma custom black 60 and shimano ultegra 5500 size reel just wondering if the okuma custom black 60 reel is same sorter size reel as the ultegra 5500

I have both. May I ask why you ask? I have never noticed them look differently under my rods. They are about the same size. Not strikingly larger the Okuma.

Just wonder as I already have the ultegra 5500 on a set of 10ft rods and wanted to know if the okuma custom black 60 was a bigger reel as was looking at them for going on some other shorter rods

then you have to swap the reels every time, is not very convenient , but that is a luxury problem i agree
