I'm looking to buy a new spod reel and I was looking into OKUMA BIG BOMBER SPOD, 8000S vs Avid Carp XR Spod.
I'm thinking on getting the Avid Carp XR Spod but in the same time the okuma one seems look much better on some points.
Anyone tried the avid reel or have an opinion regarding the reel ? :D

I have had the Avid Carp XR for about a year, bought it for the fast retreival really, 138cm of line per handle turn.
Nice and light , no issue with it.
Cant say anything bad about the reel but not a fan of plastic spools.
