Brought a second hand jrc bivvy with no groundsheet and i was thinking how can i saw in the groundsheet as velcrows dknt realllt stick in properly anyone done this before

My brolly system didn't really have enough sticking points so I bought some 50mm wide sticky backed velcro and it holds pretty well. Admittedly one piece did come adrift after a good pull but I'm sure something like areldite would hold it even firmer.

Sew some double sided clips onto bottom of bivvy and groundsheet, the ones like on your rucksack.
My original titan all season had a clip in groundsheet and it was a decent method

Very good idea i could clip it in like 5 areas and tape sides maybe

The old titan ground sheet had 3 clips and that was enough to hold it in place.

How could i attach the other clip to my bivvy strong glue you reckon

Sew it, make a little tab with some webbing.

if you go down the self adhesive velcro route, it can pay off to warm the adhesive on the velcro prior to sticking. A lot of products like that benefit from the glue being activated a bit before sticking down
