Evening, just having a play with some different liquids to create a hookbait soak.
Got some e12, liquid candy sweetener and liquid betaine to use.
I don't expect everyone to give there secrets away but any ideas on ratios, mixes etc would be great 👍🏻

flavour wise whatever you wanna do, sweetener wise, I do prefer natural sugars but a thaumatin based soak such as liquid candy can be effective, it depends on its level of talin ( thaumatin ), its extremely expensive pure so all the carp fishing sweeteners are usually made by buying in a liquid solutuion thats between 6 and 30% talin depending of where you go.
liquid betaine? which? all based on different solutions usuaslly water and mpg based.
some very very effective things you could aquire and play with i'll list belo, I wont give formulas and ratios as thats part of the fun!
Fish hydrolysates
Crustaecean Hydrolysates
Calanus Hydrolysate
yeast extract ( marmite )
celmanax
manuka honey
hemp oil
salmon oil
toasted sesame oil
butyric acid
oyster sauce
squid brand fish sauce
dissolved belechan block
etc etc
Most of these readily take some of the more potent powders out there
CPSP90
liver powder
green lipped mussel
neat amino acids
spices
sugars
You'll end up both brain fried and really excited at the same time lol
good luck

Liquid Candy Sweetener is very effective way of boosting plastic hookbaits.
Strange I know as the plastics aren't exactly porous, but somehow it does.
Excellent in winter on singles too

certain oil and solvent based flavours can penetrate plastic baits a bit, some additives can melt it lol

Yes, seen Solar Esterblend melt some pop up tubs.
This flavour is also great for flavouring plastics

I've always kept ours in glass / aluminium bottles.
I've never seen it melt an actual tub, but ive seen tubs get softened and then tear.
