Im off to abbey lakes 9th April and looking at booking the 7 days food package for ease. I think it's around £150. I wondered if anyone has any experience with it and if the food is ok, obviously not expecting Michelin star.

The food is very good i personally don't pay for the whole week and just pop up to lodge and have the odf meal .
It gives you a break from the lake , have a few beers and a decent meal and a shower .
Local supermarket is a few minutes in the car and stock all you need.

Thanks mate. I think I'll do that instead of getting the full weeks package, it makes sense and as you mentioned breaks up the day a little.
