So I managed to find some Daiwa tournament ISO's the older sort with the chrome handles. So they come with the wooden handles and I am looking to change the nobs. Has anyone done this? Is it possible to just remove the wooden nob or is it properly attached to metal. I have got some replacement nobs, which are threaded and would seem to just screw on, only problem is, the wooden nobs don't seem to just screw off!!

Are they the ones with the cover caps like image attached

If so it should just be a case of removing cover cap undo the retaining screw and the unscrew the knob and replace with what you have.

Got it done, thanks for your input. I nearly got the hammer out, but avoided permanent damage with a little bit of care and attention
