Hi guys/girls I'm in the process of taking over a park lake and I'm aware that I will need insurance and a licence to buy more fish, is there anything else I would need to do ie register as a club or pay any other fees apart from the lease of the lake which will be free thanks

To register the fishery you will need to fill in a RW1 form and send to fhi@cafas.co.uk along with the site plan, you may need to forward proof that you hold the lease.

Then one you have the fishery registered with cefas you can apply for a stocking permit using the SP1 form.

The returned SP1 form will state which species you may stock, which is venue specific.
