Recently bought the newer XL.camo hide, I know it doesn't have an overwrap but it's by far the best bivvy I owned!
If a wrap is a must take a look at a tempest 100t with skull cap wrap, my mate has one and that's a very solid versatile bit of kit

1 or 2 man or bigger, height important?
I have an Trakker slx v3 plus with armo v4 overwrap very decent bivvy, when i go alone i use my Fox Frontier Xd very good door/inside height lots of space inside without taking too much outdoor space, abit over budget but the Frontier x is in your budget, skull cap/overwrap option (overwrap has no windows at the back / side) i gonne use my xd with inner dome, skull cap and an Fox Trap insteed of the overwrap
Slx v3 2 man (Slx 150 is the new name) is also good not realy 2 man if you dont use oval beds more like 1.5 man.

You do realise that the longer this tread runs the more contradictory replies you are going to get as it's very a subjective topic. Everyone wants something different in a bivvy other than long life, good after sales service and value for money. In the end you will get information overload so you'll be no better off although Forum members will try to help
Why not look at what you want. Quick set up maybe?, Small footprint ? Lightweight and portable? Something that will stay put in gales? Overwrap options, clear windows etc? Weight restriction? Brolly style with front or out and out bivvy?1 man, Two man or something in between.
Personally for me as I take my bivvy from the car to the boat, then boat it to the swim, then stay in it for a week then an old Aqua U/J M3 ticks all the boxes, but it won't for everyone with differing circumstances.
Go back to the drawing board. Look carefully at what your needs are. Then do some research on bivvies which meet this criteria. Then come back on here and ask which of these bivvies are rated the best, which may have issues, which are cheaper, better built etc. Then we can really help you 👍

Wychwood Bivvies are worth considering 5 year warranty decent bivvies for the money if they got your requirements.

Been looking at the tactical compact recently, looks great value for the money.
