I've been looking at getting a shelter for a overnighters after work, I've already got a tempest air that I use for summer but want a full system for the winter, looking at the tempest brolly 100 with the front or a solar undercover brolly, both look really good, leaning towards the tempest brolly because my tempest air is so fast to put up but also really like the look of the solar as it seems much less of a faff than other brolly systems, which would you get ? Or any other recommendations.

Solar undercover is on offer for £175 at total fishing if that makes the decision any easier.

put it this way a mate has the Tempest Air and after seeing the Solar undercover brolly system bought one and said he probably wont ever use the Air again goes up and down faster better headroom far better weather protection

Hmmm... for overnighters, if you have enough room in your swims i dont think you can beat a tempest in brolly / air form... quick up, 5 poles in contact with the ground, no storm poles, only need 3 pegs, no internal ribs... each to their own i guess

I've used a basic tempest Brolly with an overwrap for some time
It has served me well
Ive been looking for a replacement and toyed with getting a Brolly etc but
settled for a 100t
It's taller , has vents , and setting up is a breeze, pack down size is good also

Solar undercover brolly for me got it last year and been perfect very good quality and water proof.

would never use a brolly again after owning the tempest air but moved onto the titan hide camo pro XL, absolutely faultless for my needs

Has anyone attempted to fit any sort of skull cap to one of these?
