Hi all, hope you had a great Christmas and New Year.
I'm looking for some help with some local knowledge please! I start a new job in March and I'll be in Maidenhead for 2 days a week.
Looking for a quiet water (quieter the better) , will consider syndicate, club or day ticket within half an hour of Maidenhead where I can fish a night a week between work. Ideally somewhere quiet, I'm not particularly bothered about size of fish and I also don't want to be hauling all night as I'll be pulling off early for work. The odd bite here and there would be plenty.
If I can fish from my campervan that would be a bonus but I realise this is asking a lot and isn't essential. Would also like to avoid long barrow pushes if possible, as it's really just a stop over in between work.
I don't know the area at all, other than there's lots of water! If anyone can recommend anywhere I'd be very appreciative. PM if preferred.

Reading and district have a lot of water in the area and is a very good value ticket. Alternatively, you have arguably one of the best and safest stretches of the Thames right on your doorstep with a lot of areas you could fish out of a van. If you watch Nick hellier and terry hearns Thames videos, you'll recognise a lot of landmarks.

Pinewood fisheries is in Maidenhead. Not fished it myself but couple of guys at work have been. They have a website with all the info.

I know of finch farm fishery and new farm carp and cat fishery. They are opposite each other. Haven't fished them myself but passed them on my way to work a few times.
